Building on the success of other community-focused initiatives, we expanded the annual Christmas event at Habitat into a celebration that brought together local businesses, artists, and families for some festive fun and fundraising.
The event transformed Habitat into a family-friendly festival featuring a community choir, global food stalls with flavours from around the world, local musicians, and the crowd-favourite mechanical bull reindeer that raised $2,000 for Fletcher Street Cottage.
The ride was the star of the show, with adults repeatedly getting bucked off while kids cheered on in delight, providing lots of laughs while raising much needed money for support services in Byron.
Local businesses also jumped onboard, with lots of stores contributing raffle prizes.
Creative Capital used this platform to give back to the local community while supporting those most in need, showing that good times and good causes can go together.
